hello peeps i am back online thanks to aberavon giving up some more gold so we could pay our phone bill.                                                        did a three tide stint this time ,the tides were very low and had to capitalise on the conditions being right.i managed to get a childs gold plated ring,a mens signet ring ,an engagement ring but best of all a sovereign ,weehee i can eat this week lol.i will post piccies later cos i'm shagged out and about to hit the sack cos i have been swinging my large one all night and been to work where i was so tired i walked into a wasps nest and got stung in my earole.karma is wierd lol.loads of gold happy days .good luck peeps

Well done Mike anybody who does that amount of digging in such a short time deserves their rewards.Even when I was your age I don't think I could have done that amount of detecting.

sorry pics been a bit late but i have been working in builth wells and as soon as im home i just fall asleep  ( bloody old age ).
22cts at last weehee Grin i dont think i will find anything better than the sovereign, the 18ct diamond cluster engagement ring is 1915,the signet ring is 7.5 grams of 9ct and dated 1985 ,the gold plated ring is silver underneath and a childs size so thats another one for my god daughter to play with.
after finding the sovereign i almost feel that that is it and its time to give my back a rest but full moon this weekend AWWWWOOOOO bring it on yeeehaa.
good luck peeps ,just keep off my beach lol  Grin
