Its a bit of a guess but do you think the riveted leather could of been off Roman armour? Any unusual brooches Geoff? Title: Re: Some nice brooches / tools / flint marble Post by: Chef Geoff on July 26, 2015, 12:25:51 PM Nothing that unusual as far as style is concerned but certainly in condition and if from one site then time span as well, the bottom rosette brooch is an early variety and a more normal find from the east of the country ;)
