My self and keepmeteethinthejar...went back to Barry today Smiley straight away we could see that the sand had pushed back up to the top of the beach :(stones that was uncovered a couple of days ago was now gone Sad and we reckon that in places 2 foot of sand had built back up. We felt sure that there would still be a fair few stragglers (coins) at least to be had and whilst we had nothing like the amount we had on our previous visits we done quite well, although I feel that this storm has done its job, Roll Eyes and the beach will now revert back to how it was Sad it was fun while it latest though Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Oh I for got to mention I did blagg this small Victorian child's ring not far from me mate and he was most pleased I had it Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided interestingly it is hall marked 916. (22ct) anchor mark for Birmingham and makers HJ. It weighs 2.2 grams. farewell for now Barry......we will return on the easterly's.......if we get any Wink Wink Wink Wink

Well done Paul, its still a good show of finds you made, and to top it off a little bling not bad Wink its unbelievable how the beach changes in a few days, just dumping ft of new sand on the beach.

Well done again Paul. Remember size isn't everything and good things come in small packages. Grin

I agree with you about the sand coming back. I had a go at Saundersfoot yesterday and was surprised how much had returned in a couple of days.  Also very surprised at the lack of finds but it's all in the game.

Trouble is the westerly winds shifted the sand and now the southerlys  are pushing it back on Wink for now I think the beaches are reclaiming the finds we all left behind Huh Back to the fields soon I feel.
