out yesterday myself and nobby.thought we try somewhere different on top of the mountains of the welsh valleys..somewhere only a few men are dull enough to attempt..lol.say no more !!
we set off across the mountains at 11am and arrived back to nobby.s van at 6pm only doing around 1hr of detecting because we could.nt find a field with short enough grass to detect on...after 3 and half hours of walking i came up with a good idea..i said to nobby i think we.d better start walking back my friend.not even i myself new where we were and it suppose to be my neck of the woods..lol.
so that was that another 3 and half hour walk with 20lbs ruck sacks on our backs.the sun was out in force and nowhere to take shade.like 2 arabs in a desert of fields.
finally we got there in the end we could see the bwlch mountain where we start this incredible journey.lol..after finding nothing at all which did.nt surprise us we thought we.d take atleast a photo home to remember this so called detecting outing
so we done a little posing on top of the bwlch mountain a million feet above sea level..lol....next time bruv..you win some.you lose some.and yesterday we lost.lol.
