Title: another tidy weekend
Post by: dances with badgers on November 18, 2012, 06:22:23 PM
alright peeps i went all over the pembrokeshire coastline today for a scan,i picked 3 beaches and spent 6 hrs swinging.im knackered lol.hit the goodies anyway, surprised there was not much else about,no coins wierd.
9ct gold chain was in the dry sand and i saw it glinting in the sun then after 1 and a half hrs of nothing i moved to the next beach and bingo got my heaviest 22ct ring to date, its 14 gms but a very small size.spent another couple of hrs on there then went to another beach to get the silver bangle and a solitary pound coin.
yipee now for some honey jack daniels and put my feet up.weehee lets have it :D

Well done, again, Mike. Good finds.
I tried the other end of Saundersfoot for a couple of hours yesterday. I couldn't believe my eyes as I walked down from the top.
It was like going down an embankment and strait onto the hard pack. No more than 1/2 to 1 in of sand or mud in some places and miles of it.
Didn't really know where to start,so just wandered. Didn't get many signals by the water but found a spot further up, all exposed stones. Got 3 lead weights out of there but nowt else. Might be worth a re-visit with more time to spare.

Well you know what they say about the weather  'If you don't like, hang around for an hour and it'll change'   sure will.  Have you seen the forecast for this week.?

Batten down the hatches and bring out the oil skins.  All change, again, this will stir things up a bit.
