Title: Meadieval Pasture
Post by: celticspikey on November 21, 2014, 11:12:48 AM
Hi Peeps, I decided to try the CTX on some pasture that has not been ploughed for 20 plus years, it was a place that trading went on maybe a market . Back in them days it was fun on this field as it was a very kind to me I just wish I could turn back the time and be there with a modern machine, I keep trying to get the farmer to plough again ::) may be one day ;D. The piece of lead I dug out of the hole was smack on the bottom, and as you can see it was a good depth and a strong  signal at that! the  bronze key looks to be a casket key but as yet I can not find a parallel. I have finished in the Med 2 field now due to crop growth and the wet weather so I will do a post on the final tally this season ;)
