Hi Everyone,
I am Phil, i am 71 and from Shrewsbury, i have been retired 11 years from the building trade.

I have just started detecting i am a friend of Barnys who got me started, i have also been detecting with the Waltonbasinman Paul who owns a Minelab Quattro the same as me, and he very kindly took me on a dig and was a big help with mine.

My best finds up to now are a nice roman fibula and a Pope Gregory 1X papel seal, he was pope from Mar 19 1227 to Aug 1241, i have not found much in the way of coins yet

Many thanks for the very warm welcome, have met some of you already and hopefully will meet everyone eventually,seems like a good site i am not to good on the computer and i am finding it a bit tricky getting round the site,but it is getting a bit better the more i come on here Smiley
