Title: Severn Estuary finds Post by: zorro on July 22, 2010, 09:43:10 AM recently a few members from Llanelli M.D.C took a trip up to Severn Estuary and it proved quite a good day out. shown here are just a few items found by Mickycoin (Mick) alone.
They consist of 6 buckles pieces, 1 intact. 3 spoon sections. 2 musket balls. the item next to the 2 spoon handles (that looks like a button) is very curious as it has pattern both sides and is domed both sides but has no obvious means on it being fastened to clothing. the buckles would appear to be shoe buckles c.1700's. the intact one still has some silver gilt on and measures 8 x 5 cms. I will post the other lads finds when i get them.
