I suppose it depends on the parts of Wiltshire you detect

We do not seem to find any Saxon finds in the area's we go to, even though some of them are old Saxon villages

GRID REF ST5378940976335768 Shocked it's the field with the cows in next to the tree with the crow in, beside the old barn that's no longer there ,I will pop back to field tomorrow and put marker sticks up with labels on to indicate which find came where,parking is on the Manor House croquet lawn if a stern looking man approaches you saying he is Major William Smithe Grumpalot tell him to sod off and you have permission, he will understand. do let me know how you get on mate Wink Wink
