Yesterdays finds I managed 5 hours in lovely sunshine, I wish every day was like that ;) ID welcome on hammered!

great finds , id love a field like that! as for the hammered , the large one im pretty sure its a Charles I shilling  8)

middle sized one id guess at a canterbury Henry VII half groat / groat

cut quarter ..... haven't a clue  ;D

The large one is a Chas I half crown - mm (p) - i think that's 1643-4.

Nice strap end too - I've got an almost identical one I bought from Roger Box in the Jam Factory at Oxford 20 years ago.

i didnt know there was a Charles half crown with a full bust, always thought he was on a horse !
