Have been a silent scoping member of DW for ages and figured it was about time I quit being an ignoramus and got involved to meet like minded mentalists!

The forums are a great form of inspiration and information as well as I luvs all the banter!

Originally from Mountain Ash, started detecting back in my Airforce days during the mid 90's in Buckinghamshire and got hooked on finding Roman coins with trusty Silver Sabre, although best find was and still is, a near immaculate Lizzie sixpence.

A Tesoro/Laser Fanboy for years until a mate lent me a Sovereign XS on pasture and I saw the light and acquired a GT.

Up in aber at Easter with the missus and Grandkids,

Im based near Aber. and do the beaches at Aber plus those north to the Llyn and down to pembroke, nice to know someone else in the area. Interesting you mention the Sov. XS as its what I swing.
