Detech of course produce the acclaimed SEF coils. They have now released their own detector, the EDS.

For those wanting a change, or feeling they need to get the latest innovation - could be a Deus and/or Minelab beater?

Anybody recognise the place where the above photo was taken?
Detech's detector maybe is good as is described but not for this sort of money.

Just sent them an e-mail explaining that their cover image was taken on Rhossili Beach which is a  NT beach and as such a big no no for detecting..

It's been out a little while now Doc, but I still haven't heard of anybody having one. The "in air" tests are giving stupid depths on coins, but as Relichunting and I were saying the other day, how usable will that power be in normal iron contaminated soil?
We shall see.

Really, Now that's news to me. Always thought the whole of Rhossili was off limits because it belonged to NT.
Would you know what section is NT and are we allowed to use what's not?

Always fancied this beach but because of restrictions have never detected there.

From place called "DilesLike" up north is free of NT.

Check out the Crown Estates map. Rhossilli Bay is not included. Permission from someone will be needed. Does anyone know who ??

The Crown Estates map of available coastline is what I've been going by.
Looking at the ariel photograph, it occurs to me that those dunes have been there for an awfully long time
and we all know what their often used for. Plenty of opportunity for things to drop out of pockets and purses.
I mean bird watching and star gazing are a magnet for lost items..  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

The dunes are usually the one place they don't allow detecting. I've been on trust beaches in Somerset and Devon and as long as your on the beach they are OK.

Thought Jassy had a run-in with one of the wardens on the beach down there?

Love to have a few hours on that beach but don't want to cause hassle.
