No your right it is called the EURO ACE 350  the frequency is altered to suit euro coins and conditions better , but on the display model , it still shows  $ AND CENTS ,,, ALL THAT EFFORT AND THEN THEY DO THAT, unless its a prototype ,,, but then it woould be awkward to fit in all Euro currencies , the screen would be the size of a portable tv...lol

The EuroAce does not have any american symbols on it It only shows ferrous and non ferrous and it's not called the 350 here just EuroAce.

There has been a bit of confusion over this , but i think i can clear it up

The new Garrett model will be called the ACE 350 in the states, and the EURO ACE over here.

Where the confusion comes in , is that the first images shown here were of the American model, as advertised on Kelcos website , this model Does show Dollars and cents, however the display on the EURO ACE does not.

Although using the same body and coil, they run on different frequencies

Now images are available of the EURO ACE , you can see that the dollar and cent signs have been removed.

So don't buy an ACE 350 or you'll end up with an American model ,,,,, buy a EURO ACE

Now will the prices of both machine's be the same, i don't think so ,,, but lets see.

Have a look at the previous thread on this subject , it shows the ACE 350, AND IT DOES SHOW dollars and cents , then look at Garrettt website and they have gone and the name has changed.

Ohhhh yeah the coil does look a lot better.
Ive always wanted a mid to top of the range Garrett after owning my 1st back in the day.
But i hear they are almost unusable in uk conditions.
I seen a garrett GTA at the Burbage rally the 1st ive seen in a very long time.

Im glad they are making the effort with the Euroace maybe they,ll make a EuroGTA or a EuroGTI now .

There's a rumour that the production models may not be yellow, they are being launched at the WW rally this weekend.
