Spent an hour or so at Aberavon this afternoon for the first time since a Brecon MDC rally there about 15 months ago.  Found three .303 rounds although one was 'stub nosed', a lovely fishing weight I will be using, a 1921 penny and a 1949 sixpence.  All in all quite pleased except started dry but was absolutely soaked before I could get back to the car as the weather closed in!

It was mental down there wasn't it, I could cope with the gale but when it started raining it was bad! Hopefully see you another time in better weather!!!! Lol!

Your stub nose 303 bullet is what is commonly known as a Dum Dum bullet, these were made at the Dum Dum arsenal in India
