Anyone tried detecting at the R.ogmore estuary I did a few times,and all I found was fishing weights.Apparenly at one time it was a minor port,and considering there,s a medieval castle someway upstream (out of bounds of course) there should be things of interest around, any finds of interest please post back

Glory hole of approx 30 £1 coins. Know of hammered and medieval rings coming up when conditions are right

. As with most beaches etc., the good stuff usually comes up after some rough weather. Good luck there
