Nothing better than a bit of water melon whilst digging in the sun ! ..... Won't be needing it any time soon though with the weather we're getting now but not complaining ! At least the grounds easier to dig. How are you discrim ? Hope your well.

I've got two children and a wife, so I don't get to go out early or late (although she suggested I ought to try detecting at night, because then the children are in bed - I did point out the problems with that one).

I'm not too keen on getting up too early too, so I suppose the earliest I get out on a weekend is about 9:30am - most of the time it's around 2-5pm.

I did have a bash this week from about 7-8:30pm, but then it was getting a bit dark - so it's not everyone who detects at the crack of dawn (apart from those beach people!).
