Called into one of my farms two weeks ago to check if it was OK to go to a field that had previously had crop in.
Came away with this..

Just under a year old and really docile.
Lost my dog quite recently after 12 years so Twm (welsh for Tom) was a welcome surprise.

He's lovely. Hope you've got plenty of energy Mike. You'll need it with a Border. They're very intelligent as well so watch out for him leading you astray. Grin

Cheesy Cheesy Cheers everybody. Truth is, although we said "no more dogs" as you do when you lose one that's become part of the family,
the house just seemed empty and the old dog was company for my wife when I'm out and about.
Twm is brill and as you say Val, so intelligent, even at this early stage. Used to walk my old dog around
21 miles per week as his daily route was three miles so really enjoying the time spent out walking again now.

Problem with a collie is the more you exersise them the fitter they get, and so clever they know just which strings to pull to get out, my top tip is a good quality tennis ball and racket and a long steep hill was the only way I could get our's tired and it improved my forarm smash.  Bueatifull dog Mike and I'm sure he will soon sort you out.
