Cheers Peter but dawns and sunsets are no challenge really.  Geoff will know what I mean.
This type of lighting lasts usually just a few minutes so the real challenge is to get a half decent composition in that short time.

You've mentioned that before Mike. Will have to check it out to see what the possibilities are.
Its not like the spontaneous above. To get the best results, a number of factors have to be evaluated. Composition, lighting, timing,
equipment and so on.

Nice and atmospheric Mike, and don't talk to me about sunrises and composition, I spent 10 weeks in the summer of 88 (pre photoshop) travelling to the top of the north tower of the old Severn bridge (when the weather man said it was clear) trying to get a sunrise shot for the Welsh tourist board. By the time I eventually got it, the maintenance lads thought I worked there Grin
