The seal does show the Lamb of God. Often these have the inscription Ecce Agnus Dei (Behold the Lamb of God), but this one is a personal seal. I can't make out all the letters, but looks like +S' ROG' PR......ALGII? Possibly seal of Roger, Prior of..and then a place name, or maybe Prior Religii?

Maybe a bit more careful cleaning will reveal the missing letters.

Anyway, it's 13th to 14th century  Smiley

Great finds guys - look like an excellent day out. Loving the seal.

Was there tlak of half a papal bulla earlier. Any photos of it?

This is a wild guess - but were they found in the pasture that only I went into in Autumn that was knee height?

cheers
