hi sorry about the delay with the pics i am useless on computers nice to see them finally on here many thanks to crashland and tafflaff two great guys   Wink  moving on just to describe my finds from the two day rally ...a lovely little spoon dated 1788 on the bowl and handle nearly had heart attack when i seen it come out looked like gold i think it s plated a friend of mine from st fagans museum is calling in to have a closer look i will get back to you on the spoon in a few days .... the coin ring still has traces of gold guilding it says victoria on the front and inside 1901 a little gem ,the florin is dated 1899 and the shilling 1890 both in great condition also had a sixpence dated 1945 ,the square thing so someone told me at the rally is a pit check strange place to find one of them ? the little ...s ...shaped object has a small loop on the back aint got a clue what this is , when we had the chance to go on the cows field i found two farthings dated 1754 and a penny dated 1904 what a cracking weekend not just for me the other finds on here from the rally are fantastic , what a wekend great bunch of people ,great fields, great weather, and a great hangover sunday morning ...good luck to you all and good hunting hope to see you all again soon cheers chris  Smiley

probable trench art from ww1 a great hide out  shame there where no sovs in a box or bullet .
great work locating them .
is the ring a shilling ring or 2 shilling ring people must have worked real hard to make the rings like that.

The spoon looks like a homemade caddy spoon made from coins.
Looks like a caddy spoon we used to have when i was a lad.
Nice finds tho Cool.
