Folks this is just notification of the date and not the sign up sheet. There is a choice of sites for the next rally and negotiations are ongoing to decide which will be the rally site. THIS IS NOT THE SIGN UP SHEET.

I could be up for the 2nd May, depending on area and the distance to drive.

While we are on the subject Geoff or Neil any chance of a rough location so we can start moving the logistics into place. Pregnant partner and children to be relocated and all that.

Sorry for the delay in giving details for the next rally. I realised on the day that I was due to announce the chosen venue that because of where it was and because May 2nd is a bank holiday that going there on on that day would probably result in our members having to sit in a massive trafic jam for hours.

We are working on a 'plan B'. More details in a day or two.

Plans are taking shape gents, but as Geoff said please be patient - it takes quite a bit of organising. Hopefully we may have an announcement this week on Friday evening or Saturday.

And please nobody call me over to inspect any suspect devices this time! Wink

Well, here's the situation. The area we're thinking of going to is over the other side of the bridge near Axbridge and to get to it we'd have to go past Weston Supermare on the M5. May 2nd is a Bank Holiday weekend and I just think there'd be a lot of traffic in that area. Neil is not so concerned about it and thinks most of the Bank Holiday traffic will have travelled on the Friday.

The alternative venues I thought we could choose from when I announced the date have proved to be unvavailable on that date. Rob has been trying to find another farm in Wales for May 2nd but hasn't come up with anything concrete as yet.

So it looks as though we have a choice of sticking to our original Axbridge plan and braving the traffic on May 2nd or putting it back a week to May 9th.

What are your opinions?

Geoff
