Cheers...Jon Title: Re: 1881 Census entry for Queen Victoria, Windsor Castle Post by: Nick on April 02, 2009, 04:47:40 PM Hi Jon,
I just use the bog standard viewer that comes with the package. I remember when the CD's were released someone knocked up a piece of software which would allow you to search by occupation. It cost something like 140 UKP. Very handy if you come from a family of coal miners in South Wales, NOT. Nick Title: Re: 1881 Census entry for Queen Victoria, Windsor Castle Post by: Jonola (Jon) on April 02, 2009, 06:41:08 PM I remember the viewer being available for ludicrous money. Can't remember the programme name though. I did read that the 1901 census has thousands of people with the surname DITTO though. That's what happens when a government sub contracts to the lowest bidder.
