Went out this afternoon and had a shed load of buttons again also winkled out an unknown hammered (unknown for me) and another part of a lizzy sixpence hammered , the big part i found a week and a half ago. about 10 ft away on the field!  dont figure!

Very impressed with the Lizzy Rob,nothing wrong with the settings your useing if you can find that small fragment,i've quite often found broken coins and searched for the other peice with out any luck,well done Smiley

Lovely coin. I can't wait for my first hammered. I find it strange that I have never found one and yet several Roman bronze and a couple of silver Denarii. some of the hammered I've seen on this site have really whetted my appetite and this one is no exception. Well done!
