hi guys and gals, ive not been out alot much lately because i had been finishing off my loft conversion and had a bit of a fall in my garden on my dogs leather football .. it was dark and i stepped off my step straight onto it and went over on my ankle. owww :-(
but swelling down and feeling alot better i decided to go out for an hour today with my moomin/etrac on a new permission and in the first hour i snapped my shovel ...grrr
was going to make a move home but decided to have a little scan around an old brook area means i still had my minelab digging tool and bingo.. 10 mins later with a nice 12/20 about 8" down and out she popped.. my first hammered!! :-)
1567 the date says and i think its a elizabeth 1st silver penny or sixpence?? but new to all this so not sure??
any of you guys or gals know?? i hope its not a fake or something ? lol
im over the moon and hopefully this is the start of my collection of hammered coins with alot more to come.
