Club Membership

Hi all.

My first post here but I would if it was possible like to inquire about membership to the N.W.D.D.

A bit about myself I have been metal detecting for the past 39 years, but had a bit of a lay off for the past 6 or so years following the death of my dad ( we used to go detecting together most of the time) and I sort of lost interest a little bit.

I have in the past been a member of the Wrexham metal detecting club and the Mold Historical Search Society, the South East London Metal detecting club, I moved to live in London in the mid 80's, I detected the Thames Foreshore in this time as well as farms in Kent, before moving back to North Wales in the early 90's

Any way back to the here and now, having sold most of my kit apart from my old back up machine I am now back detecting, at the moment using my old back up machine a C Scope CS 660, it does the job until I can upgrade, I have permission to detect on a number of farms, these permissions have been in place for a long time so I thankfully have not had to start from scratch, just a visit to the farms.

I enjoy going out on my own but also being with a group of like minded people, on club outings etc.

Anyway hopefully I will hear from someone in the near future about the N.W.D.D.

I will post up any finds I get in the meantime

Hi Scara,and as VAL has previously mentioned,a very warm welcome to he Detecting Wales forum.
I'm sure it won't take you long to (excuse the pun)get back into the swing of things  !!
Sorry I can't help you with the North Wales lads & lasses,but again as previously said someone will be able to help out.

There's not much going on in the club at the moment, we haven't had a dig for a while. I will get in touch with you if we get round to having a dig and you can come as a guest and take it from there. Hope this helps.
