Yes I went, a cracking day out! Met some great people, talked detectors, lovely weather, oh yeah and did a bit of detecting. Cost me a whole £10 to get in!!!!! Why in my day you could have bought a car, paid off your mortgage and still had enough change for some jellied eels on the way home!!!!  Grin Seriously though it was a good day out.

To right. Two Roman roads meet in the parish along with two moated sites. Plenty of cropmarks around the parish. A Doomsday settlement, Civil War connections. Got to be worth a look even just to see some of the guys again for a chat. Oh and did I mention it is one of the rare places outside the City of Hereford where Saxon artifacts have been found.
