Title: Tuesday's finds
Post by: Al.Thepastfinder, ( Alan ) on May 11, 2010, 05:47:22 PM
I put some fuel additve in my petrol tank yesterday to clear out the injectors,  so today i need to take it for a run  to work it through, it worked good too,
Anyhow , i thought i'd put my detecting things in and call in some where while i'm out,
No Silver today  but  a few mixed coppers and a 10p.  also 3 Brown bess lead bullets, best of all was the Bronze trade weight  though,  the GR on it indicates to me that it may be Georgian

Nice little collection of finds Al well done. The Brown Bess only fired Ball shot, the ones you have found are from the Enfield rifle (1855)

no mr. Lovedoc,  i haven't had a chance top hit the beaches mate, i used to like sundays  or even friday or wednesday evenings in the summer but i'm gonna be tied up with the searches for the museum all year on Sundays and tied up with the grandkids on fridays   till 8 .p.m. and wednesdays  into the evenings these days doh,

i'll try and let you know in plenty of time when i do  get a chance to go down mate,
