right a mate of mine has been going through his ex mrs stuff and found this silver.is it a fake or real?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but definitely a FAKE its a modern reproduction they sell them in museum gift shops for a couple of quid , the wrl stamed on the reverse of the coin stands for westair reproductions limited. would of been nice if it was real Wink

I remember watching a time team episode once I think they were digging at a mill somewhere and they uncovered what looked like a Viking or Saxon bone comb only to turn it over and find it said something like .. a souvenir from York... Grin
