Found by a mate digging his garden, its made of lead with 4 holes as shown in 4 sides 90 degree opposed, weighs 0.9 kg any ideas ?

That's a strange one. Reminded me of a lump of lead I dug up in my garden. Mine was much heavier, no pattern but had a ring set in the top.

No idea what your mates was but it's interesting.
