if you do get a definite ID, would you share it here? I love the learning part of this hobby so would love to know what it is to see if my beginner's guess (Edward I) is even remotely close! Grin

Landyman its either a Ed I or II there's really not much between them so I don't bother to find out which Ed it is there's so many different classes, and its not the most interesting coin to research, so I don't go into that type to much.

It says CIVI TAS in the first two quarters, the 3rd looks a little funny but ends with a N? but the 4th says DON so the only mint it can be is London Wink

So its a Ed I or II London mint penny Wink
