hi im no expert only been doing  detecting 4  about 5 months  but where i go is after kids have had a foot ball match  around the goal posts where the specaters stand u b surprised  what i have found also go around old trees  and when u r on the beach  as u walk back 2 your car look for where kids have been playing in sand pits the pound coins and 20 p pieces ive found also the places kids play where u have bark wood chippins on the ground cause they climb up side down and it falls out of there pockets we were in shaldon this year on a pontins camp and the dosh i found honest so thats what i do all the best  Cool

just a word of caution - parks and playing fields come under the auspices of the local council, and you need permission from them if you wish to coinshoot on these.

oh - and a beach permit is required as well .. but this can be downloaded free of charge from the crown estate website.
