I have no idea but have a look at one, very similar, that I found.
Some one suggested it may be part of a bomb but never confirmed.

Had a look at  the ones i have.Dint look like any of the parts.so it could be a flowered shaped ring.for some one. with sausage size fingers.shame the diamonds are missing. Grin

Well,

it could be the umbrella answer, here's another pic or two.

Initially I thought it may have come from a rifle, as there is what I thought was a sight marker on it - but it sounds more realistic being an umbrella - The bubble has been burst now  Wink

the colour and oxidisation suggest aluminum type alloy, the umbrella thing looks like a powerful argument.

Iv had a couple of them and have always been told they come from an umbrella. I really hope they do because they went in the scrap bucket long ago Smiley
