Only popped out for literally an hour just to have a quick scan of some land that has in the past been quite fruitful but given up giving long ago. I'm going to be testing a new coil in the next few weeks (So watch this space)for the manufacturers and wanted an area that I know had seen a great amount finds but any that were still there would be to deep for the normally set up Explorer.
Sods law Cheesy I have been over this piece of ground and I'm talking only 100sqm time and time again hoping that one more find would show itself but to no avail, that was until today.
First out pops a 17thC token, not sure of whom but it has 1666 written on it and then my second silver thimble in the last 8 days and like the last it looks like it's for a child or small female finger.
Still not sure it's clear  Undecided But still it helps prove that there is no such thing as a "hunted out site" Wink

Well done Geoff, at least I'm not the only one that thinks that a done field is not a done field. I blame the worms, moles, rain, cows, sheep etc. for turning up new stuff LOL. I like your thimble, hopefully you will add a cleaned pic soon.
