When i use my minelab sovereign gt ive noticed that
when its hip mounted the headphone lead would pull
across and knock some of the switches so you would
have to stop redo your switches then carry on well on picture 1
you can see what i mean  so i came up with this idea
i bought some sticky velcro i stuck 2 sides together so
you got a hook on 1 side fastener on the other thread
it through the loops on your bag put your headphone
cables by the loop and put velcro around the headphone
lead shown on picture 2 it should look like picture 3
garentee no more trouble

I did something similar on my Advantage pro i used velcro round the top stem

That's a good tip Steve,worth remembering too,if you are belt mounting the control box wind a few loops of the coil cable around your belt ,so any strain is taken on the belt and not the box cable connector. Grin
