Title: Have you found good stuff in your junk before cleaning out your trays? Post by: alun on March 20, 2013, 11:24:34 AM After sorting out my "Junk" finds I noticed this one which split at the end revealing a blade. When found I thought it was just a piece of scrap metal covered with beach debris as usual. I know its nothing special but have you ever thought what you might have discarded in the past could have been an interesting find.
Title: Re: Have you found good stuff in your junk before cleaning out your trays? Post by: cardiffian on March 20, 2013, 09:48:09 PM Once found a 16th/17th century saddle pommel and discarded it. Saw one later illustrated in 'History Beneath Our Feet'. Was a bit naive then but check everything now.
