Ok.

Due to corrosion there is a little difficulty in pinning it down precisely.

So - It's a follis - looks like a reduced follis, I think the mint mark is PLC which would be Lyon (lugdunum). The reverse legend should be GENIO POP ROMANI, but it's a little hard to see the POP bit - the reverse figure is the genus of the roman people holding a patera over an altar.

The reverse could be either Galerius (Maximianus) or Maximinus II (also a Galerius Valerius) - the problem with the tetrarchy is that they've all got very similar names.......

Anyway it dates from c. 300AD If that helps :)
