Cardigan bay area near new quay the problem with the little beaches i go to have loads of junk mainly from people having fires and burning beer cans the amount of melted alu i find is unbelievable.i will give pembray a shot when i have the time.

i do pembrey quiet a bit and even though there was a big sand shift a while back it can be a hard beach, loads of bullets and fishing weights and rings but they are very deep its a large beach and a bit daunting,if you are going to do it look for the low spots and black sand areas where the black sand is on few inches down.
loads on there as with all beaches you just have to time it right and hit the low spots.
 good luck, mike
