The campsite are not taking any Camping bookings, until the 1st September . (The day after bank holiday Monday) This is due to the weather being wet. They need to see how the fields are after that weekend.

My advice is to book on the Tuesday morning and dont forget to tell them you are with the Detecting Rally.

The number is 01446 794024.

The camping Tarrifs are:-

1 Adult, Unit and car £9.25

2 Adults, Unit & Car  £11.35

Each Additional Person £4.50

Electric Hook Up Point  £3.60

Dogs 65p

Day Visitors £1.00

Awning Free

Hot Showers Free

Late Departure (If available)
 £5

Also if you take note of the tarrifs there is a provision for DAY VISITORS, so contrary to our earlier belief those not camping could join the campers for the BBQ and Drink as well

Please Read this as there seems to be a provision for DAY VISITORS as well , so those not camping could join us after the Rally

Ok have spoke to the guy at the campsite and he confirms that they  can indeed accomodate us for camping on Saturday. Each tent will have to pay a deposit as its for only one day, do this Tuesday or Wednesday not to miss out. Those staying in my tent remind me who you are so I can book you in.

The campsite have bent their rules with this booking, they normally dont allow single sex group bookings , nor visitors but they will allow it this time. They have reminded us about any noise after 11.00pm , lets give them the respect they deserve here guys , we owe them that much.

Weather for the weekend is supposed to be much better than the week leading up to the rally so heres hoping.

I've just booked the motorhome into the campsite and will be arriving Friday afternoon, if anyone wants a cuppa pop round and I'll put the kettle on. Smiley Smiley
