Is that right Rob?

I have never been lucky enough to stumble across a fayre site - sounds very promising although I imagine judging by the coins that have come out to date the hamster will be deep.

Listen for those faint and split signals ladies and gents.

Looking forward to it.

I have managed to slot another member off the waiting list in today. Still have 3 waiting though.

I dont know of any Roman activity on the site but the farmer gave digga a bit of the history. There is an 11th Century Churchvery near the farm, this was built on or near to the existing 7th Century church. Theres also what looks like a Mott? , big Mound with ditch all around it, though the farmer recons it might have been one of the signal beacons. Theres silver milled come up , William iii shilling I believe, so not a whole date range away from the hammereds. If they are there they may be deep.
