A loveley new farm for us to detect on in Nether Stowey, Somerset. This is a cracking area with a Norman Motte and bailey castle remains just a stones throw away. (No throwing stones on the farm)

We have 65 acres to detect which will be oat stubble, this will have been sprayed in a couple of days time so should be well dead and rotted.

The farmer is donating his fee to a local charity and as such I have said we will pass the bucket around during the rally talk. Loads of land on this farm for the future so here's hoping its a good one.

PS. I have asked the farmer if he has allowed any group detecting on this farm and his reply was 'I've not had anyone on this farm detecting to this day'  Smiley

This will be a DetectingWales.com members only rally and I'm afraid everyone attending must be over 16 years of age. Usual terms and conditions apply. Everyone who attends does so at their own risk and we recommended that everyone has civil liability insurance. If you are a member of a club you will probably already have this. Please check.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

The location of the rally will be sent by private message to everyone who has signed up the day before the rally and the rally fee is £7.00 as normal.

Weather looking OK for Sunday. A band of heavy rain - maybe an inch - will fall early Saturday in Somerset and once cleared will bring much cooler, fresher weather for the rest of the weekend. Sunday should be mainly dry but cloudy, with the chance of an odd shower. More rain expected later in the evening - hopefully by that time we'll all be back at home/in the pub.  Cheesy
