Looking at your coin reminded me of one I found last year. Copper, Ship in full sail, nothing on reverse though.
It was never I.D'd as was too bad, but thought to be a token. Have a look and see what you think.

Val your pic is typical of what i find round my end! i see ur ship but i cant say it looks the same as mine, I'm thinking now its a halfpenny but the colour doesn't match, for me anyway! Meatslicer's post threw me a little, its deffo not George think its a woman facing left! another for the unknown box! Thanks again all
