Post by: BottyBurp (Kris) on April 12, 2009, 04:50:40 AM
Any ideas on this one please Doc?

Found by a club member last week, it's made from Silver & about the same size as an old Silver Threepence!

Hi Botty here is your coin . It is a Type 1 silver 3 cent of the United States. It has oviously been used on a charm bracelet or as a medallion. Should have said I found a type 2 with the laurel leaves a few months ago that,s how I recognised it as I had already researched it.
