Using the new sigh up list  / Remember this is for you only, each members need to sign up individually.

1 click the button sign up

2 You will be redirected to a window with the terms and conditions and click agree or i disagree

3 Look at the computer screen you will see your name in the list but as unconfirmed for now,  to fully attend the rally you need to confirm.

4 click the button confirmed

5 You will see your name on the list as confirmed  so job done this way you will receive direction of the rallie and be part of the day.

To cancel the sign up or you can attend the rallie just click the button cancel sign up you will have a pop up saying if you cancel you will lose your spot are you sure  press ok if you not able to make the rallie .

 pictures will follow .

This way no need to ask to be on the list or to be remove it can be done just by using this new sign up list. Cheers.Nap

I'm sure there must be others as thick as me.  But what was wrong with the old uncomplicated way of just saying please add me to the list , and Bingo your on

Because the old system was not uncomplicated, at least not for the people who send out directions.
In truth this system is far easier for both parties, If you only posted "me please" on the old system it involved 10 key strokes, this new system involves just 2.

There was too many mistakes happening on the old system. And people were not getting directions. People were signing up multiple members, without explaining who the members actually were. Also Names were being missed out due to general chatting on the sign up thread.

Entering 100 names into the pm system was taking me anywhere from 1hr to 2 hrs every rally.

The whole idea of a forum is to take part in it, now members have to log in to sign up to a rally and as Chef said its one press of a button now.

If details change last minute i can let everyone know again at a touch of a button, with the old system i could only send quick messages to the whole forum - all 1800 members, which used to cause a lot of confusion.

All in all, its a great system, a simple system and as from the next rally it will be the only way to sign up.
