Wanna be boy band....

I know a couple of people on here like their antiques, so i thought i'd share this. I recently bought this Meiji period satsuma koro (an incense burner) with dragon adorning the lid. His top snout was missing so set about looking for a local specialist to restore him. I found a guy in Barry called Peter David who has own studio and does conservation work for museums etc. I emailed him pictures of the peice and asked him if he would undertake the restoration. I took the peice down to him just before christmas and just had it back yesturday......well what an amazing job.....what do you think? Smiley

Wow, what a superb job.   Cool      May I ask you what you paid for it, and how much did he charge you for fixing it?
