wow your Lucky over there Ken in Canada

Beaches arnt as popular as they once were but theres still some nice finds to be found.
Last year a llanelli Detectorist found a bronze south wales type socketed axehead might have been a product of coastal errosion.

Happy Detecting !

There are some absolute beauties there Ken! We get the odd one of quality around South Wales, but not the amount of ICE you seem to find! My wife is very impressed and now wants to know why I don't bother with the beaches very much!!! :) If you ever want to sell any let me know as my mother is an Antiques and particulalry jewellery dealer - I'm sure she would be interested.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers
Neil

phil in respect to erossion .my mate found a 1 of 4 bronze age axehead on the beach 4 inches down  . i believe that we had both walked and picked up the signal several times before and cast it as a very arge item like tyres there are several tyres very close by and this day he said he wasn't having a good day so checked it .he had found 3 roman 1st/2nd century coins close by so we had been woking the same area for months back and forth .
he has also found a chalis 1of5 recorded still away 2 years  same beach but 1/2 mile away .
