went to A new spot on A different new   beach today managed x17 new coins x1 old toy car   but got  x2 half  crowns  dates look 1949 +1948 can any one give me ideas best way to clean them please  they are covered in  green crud

Sounds a bit harsh but it worked well on some of mine.  Coke and lemon juice, good scrub between soaks and a bit of patience. Might take a couple of days but it works.

The ones attached were dark brown when I found them. Nice thing about them is they are good underneath.

Well done, ive experimented with a fibre glass pencil on cupro nickel coins it works a treat, Obviously you will have fine scratches on them but only noticeable under a loop

Got to admit to using my non scratch pan cleaner. Shocked Roll Eyes  it worked a treat on first scrub or two and then sponge scrubber with jiff cleaner.
O.K. on these but wouldn't recommend on anything softer.
