A couple from 2day !

Spent the day digging with Matty & Triggy in the heart of Somerset with the frost on the ground all day, a little chilly but the rising sun soon has us wondering why we`d adorned so many layers of clothing 
Hard work as the ground was a little waterlogged in places & the 1st couple of fields were not giving up a lot 
As it was Matties 1st ever trip detecting we didn`t want him returning home glum & with an empty finds bag vowing to never walk another farmers fields with a "stupid stick" so was happy with the £10 + in modern money we pulled from the last field of the day. Paid for the Bridge on the way back into Wales & that put a smile on our faces as the greedy "Coin Bin" gobbled up our grotty £1 coins rescued from their earthly grave not an hour or two earlier 
My best of the day was these two. The Pendant`s chain is stamped 925 in a few places & weighs 13.8g.
Think the ring is silver plate, but ay, the heart missed a beat when i 1st set eye`s on it in the clod !
