Some of you may remember the Gold ring I found back last year, well it has been disclaimed under the treasure act and is now back in my possession, I am in the process of trying to get a value on it in its present state and also looking at the possibility of restoring it with the view to the farmer keeping it, this will be costly I am sure but would be nice. Back in April addition of the searcher, I wrote a report on it, I have also heard the 4 coins are treasure and the Salisbury museum would like to acquire after the TVC has got there finger out Huh ???my little dig on the length of time it has taken Grin

That's one beauty of a find....maybe a reputable jeweler will repair it in his spare time for a reasonable amount...it's worth a try.

Best try a small family Jeweller, one that is a member of the goldsmiths guild (should have notice to the effect in the shop) Not a High St chain.
I had a silver posy ring that was in 2 pieces repaired by a shop in Hereford. It ended up looking very nice for a reasonable £20.

Lovely ring definatly worth a bit of TLC

very nice ring , I had several pieces of a 14thc ring last year and was lucky enough to find 4 separate  pieces so I took em to a jeweller in Hereford {yes after I,d had them back as disclaimer treasure ,} and also took some scrap gold as space filler ,, end result nice complete toned 14th and18th c ring  Grin which I presented to farmer.
