Can anyone help me out with an ID on this Roman Please? I think the reverse is either VIRTVS EXERCITAS or HOC SIGNO VICTOR ERIS, mintmark CONSP and emperor either Arcadius or Honorius, any further help much appreciated. 17mm diameter. Certainly if you look at wildwinds and search for Virtvs Exerciti, look at the 5th example - that's a late coin for round here. I think I'm getting a bit better at Id'ing them, but it takes me ages..... just have to keep on practising :) |
