Thanks Doc, it`s tiny & much smaller than i imagined a Silver Roman would be, but then again it is my 1st.
It weighs 0.9 grams & is approx 12/14mm diameter  Huh


That is the correct weight for a half siliqua - a full siliqua is about 1.9 - 2.2g.

As I said - a pretty rare coin!!

Thats what I call a Roman coin. What type of soil was it found in,and was it ploughed or pasture. Well done.
